Álvaro Siza Vieira

About Boa Nova Tea House,Portugal

Álvaro Joaquim de Melo Siza Vieira, who's internationally known as Alvaro Siza and Siza Vieira in Portugal, is a Portuguese architect. Siza's prominent figure in architecture and his architecture works are recognized as a connection between the historical environment and the modern architecture structure. Alvaro Siza shows his respect particularly on the location where the construction is placed. That said, majority of those new architecture works went through his hand are relatively connects to the old, local tradition, therefore a lot of original elements are retained.

Construction set on the hillside, a very direct connection to the nature.

Boa Nova Tea House,Portugal, 1858-1961
Boa Nova Tea House which takes approximately 3 years and finished in 1961 would be a representative figure of Alvaro Siza's architectural style. The entire structure of the architecture is placed directly on the hillside, the unconventional design of the opening of windows and doors brings the nature skylight in and emphasized the connection between the interior and the outdoor landscape. The tea house blends with the land rocks surrounded softly. Growing out from the rocks, that will be it.

卢延光 (Lu YanGuang)

About line.

Chinese artist Lu Yangunag (born in 1948)is truly one of the outstanding artists of Chinese comic strip. He does particularly an great job on tackling with lines in his art pieces. Throughout his line drawing the strongest spot that immediately captures my attention is the quality and the movement of his line: very soft handling but also possess a pretty tough quality, like the waves in the ocean.

一百僧佛图
He's the first artist in China who uses the sharpie marker (which is originally for architecture sketching) to draw. Deeply inspired by English Illustrator Aubrey Beardsley, Lu has been working on developing his personal line structure and movement by absorbing Chinese cultural elements into black-and white ink drawing. Compare to Aubrey Beardsley's soft-quality, ambulatory line, Lu's pieces displays a more interesting composition and the firmness in lines.

戴敦邦 (Dunbang Dai)

About Chinese Art.

Chinese artist Dai Dunbang (born 1938) is one of the nationally acknowledged, qualified master of Chinese comic strip, which is usually presented as a book with a complete story or a couple of separated plots told in pictures in the form of chinoiserie. Very loosen-up style, bold lines and pretty smooth artistic conception.

These figure drawing pieces from Dai would be the most representative pictures of His art.His character illustration is and interesting combination of very specific detail works particularly on the figure (clothes, hand or other parts of the body) and the blank behind. Pieces through his hand always gives me a fresh eye of lines expression.

Ashley Percival

Bill.

Shortly after Ashley Percival graduation from the University College Falmouth, where he majors in art and design, Ashley opened an Etsy shop to sell his illustration pieces. No doubt that his sales went through the roof. Ashley Percival's handmade illustration recalls those quirky lines, shapes and textures in Joan Miro's art pieces in some way. Wildlife and nature turn out to be a series of drawing and illustration consist of different elements through Ashley Percival's hand.

                        Owl Party.
                      Owl of the Night.
Conspicuously, Owls are an interesting species to present for Ashley, and he illustrates them as a cartoon-ish, and may be sort of childish wildlife character. Pretty simple, plain background and composition but with very exquisite handling with details.

Arian Behzadi

Bill.

American Artist Arian Behzadi displays a very interesting perspective on collages throughout his art works. Astonishingly composed images with chromatic warm color he uses construct his self art style, which is a definitely a shining spot that makes him an great collage artist. Although he does not actually have a traditional art school background , he really produces something phenomenal out of his mind.

Some of his collages contain pictures of characters or settings from different   movies-like movie posters in form of collage.Based on Alfred Hitchcock's Rear   Window, this is, I personally think, a very representative piece of Arian     Behzadi's color using and composition in his art-chromatic yellow as the       background with the black that spread out from the edge.

There are also some interesting collages combining human figures which are kind of blended with the background very peacefully, instead of using chromatic color that may enhance contrast.

Fake news

Bill

It would be completely understandable if anyone post some type of humorous stories publicly.Actually people do that all the time. Fake news were every where since we have developed our virtual world through the internet. Back to past when human receive information from newspaper, radio or television, it's technically easy to find out whatever new.
Things have became a little more complicated since we got the internet so-greatly developed. Fake news fill the world, and it's pretty tricky to spot it.
Some sites which are full of typical fake news try to pass themselves off as real facts, usually consist of various details of what it's trying to describe and, obviously, fantastic headlines and shocking content like "President got assassinated." etc. That was a pretty conspicuous one.
Fake news has been exist all the way through the virtual world history. There are always fake news written out hilariously on social media--and they cause trouble absolutely. Majority of fake news are possibly based on the prediction of the future--but they are written and comes out as facts instead of predictions. That said, misunderstandings are commonly seen today.
